Preventative care is one of the best things you can do for your pets or livestock

Not sure what preventative care your pet or livestock needs? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! Here is a list of general recommendations, but we always individualize preventative care

Dogs = annual physical exam, vaccinations [DA2PP + L4, rabies, kennel cough, rattlesnake], fecal float, appropriate dewormer, heartworm test, year-round flea/tick/heartworm preventative, yearly teeth cleaning, and if 7+ years old yearly blood work + urinalysis

Cats = annual physical exam, vaccination [FVRCP + FeLV & rabies], fecal float, appropriate dewormer, year-round flea/tick preventative, yearly teeth cleaning, and if 7+ years old yearly blood work + urinalysis

Horses = annual physical exam, vaccinations [VEWT + WNV, Rhino + Influenza, & Rabies], fecal egg count, appropriate dewormer if needed, coggins, odontoplasty (“floating teeth”) twice per year if <5 years old or once per year if 5+ years old

Cattle = annual farm visit, annual vaccinations (Respiratory Combo, Clostridial w/ Tetanus, Immunostimulant, & Rabies for valuable or show cattle), vitamin and mineral shots, fecal egg count, appropriate dewormer if needed, pregnancy determination, bull BSE + trich testing

Pigs = annual physical exam, vaccinations [Respiratory Combo, Clostridial w/ Tetanus, & Rabies], fecal egg count, appropriate dewormer, and if 6+ years old yearly blood work + urinalysis

Small Ruminants (Sheep & Goats) = annual farm visit, annual vaccinations (Clostridial w/ Tetanus, Immunostimulant, & Rabies), body condition score evaluation, FAMACHA scoring, fecal egg count, appropriate dewormer if needed, pregnancy determination, ram/buck BSE, CAE/OPP testing

  • Bobby

    Bobby is always in the middle of everything! He loves attention and is usually laying on the counter at the clinic.

  • Junior

    Junior will eat anything you give him or if it is on the counter…be sure to hide your food from him! He has allergies and gets medications daily to help with his allergies. Junior and Charlotte have a strange love affair…they are usually seen together :)

  • Charlotte

    Charlotte is very friendly, loving, and social. She is also very sassy!
